The Great Himalayan National Park ( GHNP ) Tirthan Valley is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, and is considered to be one of the most biodiverse areas in the world. The park is located in the Tirthan Valley in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, and covers an area of over 1,100 square kilometers.
